Particularités: Il y a plus de monde dans cette petite partie des Etats-Unis que dans tout le Canada.
Situation : c’est toute la partie en bas à gauche des Etats-Unis, le long de l’océan pacifique. Et l’eau est très froide. Il y a le Mexique jute en dessous.
Ce qu’on a vu
Les très grandes villes : San Fransisco, Los Angeles, San Diego. Avec des très grands ponts.
Les autres villes connues au cinéma : Santa Barbara, Malibu … (nous on ne connait pas mais apparemment ça rappelle des souvenirs aux parents..).
Les animaux : coyote, aigles, écureuils, condors de Californie (on dirait des vautours, ils ont la tête toute rouge), lions de mer, pélicans, mouettes, loutres, hérons, et des colibris.
Les plages : Malgré l’eau très froide on s’est baigné à chaque fois. Les vagues étaient très grosses et on a pu y voir des surfeurs et beaucoup de pélicans.
Les routes : Il y a beaucoup de monde sur les routes, surtout autour de Los Angeles. On était tout le temps dans les bouchons et pourtant, quelques fois il y avait 7 voies dans chaque sens de circulation…
La Prison D’Alcatraz à San Francisco : C’est une prison qui se situe sur une Ile au large de San Francisco. Il n’y a rien d’autres sur l’ile. Il y avait 336 cellules dans la prison. Les prisonniers étaient très dangereux comme Al Capone. Ils étaient dans cette prison pour ne pas qu’ils s’échappent.
Ce qu’on a mangé
– On a mangé un peu plus souvent au restaurant (1fois par semaine)
– On va toujours un peu au Walmart mais moins souvent car papa et maman on un nouveau magasins fétiche, Trader Joe’s (du bon fromage et du bon chocolat!!)
– On ne mange plus de sandwichs mais des tortillas aux légumes.
– Maman fait toujours son pain pour manger des bonnes tartines le matin.
L’école
Nous faisons toujours l’école tous les matins avec maths et français. Nous n’avons pas eu de vacances à la Toussaint.
Maman a commencé à nous apprendre quelques mots d’espagnol pour le prochain pays où nous allons aller. On a un carnet pour les mots étrangers. Nous notons les nouveaux mots que l’on apprend.
Les activités
– On a beaucoup marché à San Francisco.
– On a visité une ancienne prison pendant 2h, très connue, sur l’île d’ Alcatraz en face de San Francisco. C’était une prison où les plus grands bandits des Etats-Unis étaient enfermés. On a pu écouter l’histoire de cette prison grâce à un audio guide que nous avions pendant la visite.
– On s’est baigné dans l’océan. gla gla
– on a fait une petite fête pré-halloween avec des copains français qui habitent là-bas.

J’ai rencontré une copine qui s’appelle Maya, elle habite aux USA. On a mangé des bonbons d’halloween en secret dans sa chambre. On a joué dehors dans un tipi et on a regardé la télé en mangeant que toutes les deux. C’était trop bien et j’espère qu’on se reverra un jour.

A Halloween on a pris pleins de bonbons avec les copains. Il y avait un endroit ou ca faisait très peur, des gens étaient déguisés en zombies pour nous faire peur.
